In my education I have studied philosophy and two years of theology, and will be attending Immaculate Conception Seminary, Seton Hall University.
I was raised in a very Catholic culture and in a family in a very faith-filled environment which inspired me to pursue a life in the priesthood.
To someone who is interested in discernment, I would say that priesthood is a vocation. It is a call from God to serve him and his people. If you feel that you are called to be his instrument, my advice is that first you need to pray and listen to your heart to hear what God is telling you. Then answer him and say: "Speak, Lord, your servant is listening."
